The MillHouse McKinney Team believes that when women gather together, amazing and unexpected things happen. We designed an environment for members to work or play, reset expectations, rediscover who we uniquely are, excavate our buried dreams, and find new ways to flap our butterfly wings to lift one another up.
We host weekly speaker-led lunches on a variety of topics. Speakers are MillHouse members, as well as external leaders in the community, who share their knowledge and expertise in an informal setting. Speaker topics, workshops, and classes are based on members' interests, and offer participants the opportunity to learn new skills or practice existing skills. Quite often, new ideas for projects or business concepts emerge as women from different backgrounds and experiences gather together around shared passions.
We love celebrating the creativity of our members and community. You can participate or attend two seasonal art festivals at the historic McKinney Cotton Mill. We host open studio event at MillHouse to invite visitors and clients into our space to meet and greet MillHouse artists and women-owned small business members. These community-based events promote the amazing work of our members, help increase visibility and sales, and attract new customers to propel their businesses to the next level.
Showcase your products in our Boutique Shoppe at MillHouse McKinney. We have books for sale by member-authors, artisan jewelry, yoga tanks, art, fiber products, hand painted cards, prints and more.
The MillHouse Gallery features work by member artists during quarterly art exhibitions.
If you are a small business woman, let us know your ideas on how we can collaborate together for creative outcomes.
We've designed MillHouse McKinney at the Cotton Mill as a fun, welcoming place for members to collaborate and socialize with women from different backgrounds and experiences. Each member can sink into a comfy couch with a laptop, relax with girlfriends, or try out new ideas and skills through activities and workshops. As members engage in interesting conversations with new-found friends around shared passions, new ideas emerge which lead to community projects or business concepts.
Take advantage of our 14,000 sq. ft. creative space, workshops, and events.
